Arriving by car:

Oncoming from Germany (Ulm):

Autobahn A7(Highway A7)via Füssen > Reutte/Tirol  leave at departure "Reutte-Süd" and continue direction Lechtal (Lechvalley) on the B198 until you reach Elbigenalp.

Oncoming from Germany (München):

Autobahn A 95 (Highway A95), all the way until the highway ends, continue direction Reutte. In Reutte follow the signs through the roundabout towards Steeg and Lechtal (Lechvalley) drive the B198 about 35 km until you reach Elbigenalp.

Oncoming from Switzerland:

Driving on Autobahn A1 (highway A1), leave the highway at the departure "Au", you will pass the border in Lustenau. Continue to Dornbirn and drive over the small Bödele pass until you reach Schwarzenberg, at the church in Schwarzenberg continue right, direction Richtung Mellau / Bregenzerwald / Warth. From Warth you continue to Steeg from Steeg it is about 15 km to Elbigenalp on the B198.

Attention!!! During the wintertime the street from Lech to Warth might be closed!!!

Oncoming from easter parts of Austria:

Highway (Autobahn) A 12 via Innsbruck, go direction Bregenz - leave the highway in Imst and drive over the  Hahntennjoch pass to Elmen - then continue direction Steeg about 10 minutes ride from Elmen.
Attention - this road is only open during the summer (about beginning of June until November)
During the Wintermonths leave the highway A 12 (coming from Innsbruck) in Mötz and go over the Fernpass direction Reutte. In Reutte at the roundabout follow the signs direction Steeg / Lechtal - ride the B 198 about 35 km to Elbigenalp.

Coming by train / bus:

Oncoming from Germany:

Go by train to Bahnhof Reutte - you will get here via Ulm-Kempten or via Garmisch-Partenkirchen..
From Reutte you can go by the bus to Elbigenalp. Please let us know when you plan to come - we will be glad to help you in finding the best conections to get here.

Oncoming from Austria:

Go by train via Innsbruck to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, here you have to change train to Reutte. From Reutte you can go by the bus to Elbigenalp. Please let us know when you plan to come - we will be glad to help you in finding the best conections to get here.

Arriving by air:

Best airport to arrive is München (Munich, Germany) , optionally you could also fly to Innsbruck. We will be glad to organize and book an airportshuttle for your ride from the airport Munich or Innsbruck to Elbigenalp.
